A Sea Of Blankets, A Sea Of Comfort

Diving into a sea of blankets after a long hard day is such a relief. Honestly, I could not have too many comfy blankets on my bed when I am about to hit the hay. At no time does the amount of blankets on my bed drop below four. Over the winter between wool blankets, my cotton sheet set, my favorite fleece blankets, woven blankets and others, I am practically drowning in fabric. I like it that way. Some people might find that cluttered. I on the other hand find it incredibly comfortable. There is nothing like climbing under a heaping American blanket pile. I live to indulge in this kind of comfort!

I have a great source to buy blankets and buy sheet sets on the web. It has me buying fresh new blankets faster than I can even sleep in them. Not that it is a problem. With all the guests we have rolling through our huge home we need a lot of extra blankets. Especially when you think about the considerable toll my own severe blanket and throws addiction takes on our family's blanket supply already. We love having guests and we want them to leave feeling like they had a comfortable experience. For a guy like me comfort equals blankets.

In some ways I have always been blanket obsessed. When I was a kid I was very much "Linus type." I would hoist a woven blanket over my shoulder and parade around the house and then out around the neighborhood with it. Since then I am less married to one particular woven blanket or even one particular type of material. I honestly will buy a blanket in pretty much any style or look. I will try anything once when it comes to blankets. They are seemingly so cheap now when you find blankets for sale online they are never even sort of as expensive as they were in even the most heavily discounted stores.

I would love to wrap the entire world in the softest blankets. That is my vision of a perfect planet. Everyone cozy and warm, ready to drift off into their very own dream worlds while cradled in the softness of fleece or cotton. Does that not seem like a more ideal planet to you? Instead of anger and hate, fleece blankets. Instead of war and aggression a cotton sheet set. Some may say I'm a dreamer but I am not the only one.
